How to cut a song online

Cutting a song means keeping the part you want — a chorus, a verse, a sample — or removing a part you don't, like a long intro or an outro. You can do both in your browser in under a minute, and since the editing happens on your device, the song is never uploaded anywhere.

Keep a part vs. remove a part

Two tools do the work, and the trick is knowing which fits your goal:

• Trim keeps only the highlighted section and discards the rest — use it to grab a chorus or a clip.

Step by step

1. Open the song. Drag your file onto audiotrim.app. It appears as a waveform right away.
